The installation on my 2007 Chrysler Town & Country with Stow-n-go seats went smooth. Got slowed down by a stuck bolt but was able to free it using penetrating oil. Nice product, and the 2 inch receiver and extra capacity over competing models of a similar price range sealed the deal.

My son and grandson helped me install this receiver. Everything fit, all the holes were inline, but we really appreciate the wire you included in the parts, that allowed us to put the bolts in the channel iron, thank you, what a time saver. All the parts were there, bolts and nuts and washers. We had not problem, it went right on. Robert

Nice hitch. Not really sure why they just don't send longer bolts to carry all the way through the "body rail". Fishing those bolts and washers sucked, and I'm an electrician and do that sort of thing all the time!. Plus you NEED to alter the rail to get the bolts through. The car can only tow 2500lbs the longer bolt would be ok in this application. Over all it was good the ease of the wiring harness made up for hitch issue

I purchased this hitch for my Rav4 mainly for a bike rack. I also purchased an electrical kit in case I wanted to pull a trailer in the future. This is a first class piece of equipment. Make no mistake, it is very well made and quite substantial. It fits perfectly with no problems, however, unless you're in good shape physically, you're in for a shock if you think you're going to pull it out of the box and slap it on in a few minutes. It is, as I said, substantial! Get help.

No drilling required which is a huge incentive to buy this, other than the fact it is a Reese. It took me about 30 min to install myself, and would cut the time in half if I had a second set of hands. No issues installing and it is extremely secure. Best buy for the money!

I want a hitch with a 2 inch square receiver for a Lexus ES350 to haul a handi cap scooter. Can you provide such? Thank you,
Answered by Nathan S. — Jan 11, 2013 1:24 PM
Hi, You car doesn't support a class 3 hitch (2" reciever) so only a class 1/2 will work. While these hitch have a 1 1/4" receive, we offer a 1/ 1/4" to 2" adapter that will allow you to mound a platform for the scooter. Just make sure not to tow anything beyond class 1/2 rating with it. http://www.autoanything.com/towing/65A4106A0A0.aspx

I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue SL and have been looking at hitches for a bike rack. I noticed under options for the hitches SV, Non-Crom, etc. what does all this mean?
Answered by Nathan S. — Oct 19, 2012 3:36 PM
Hello, This means that since you have an SL model, you want to select the Non-Krom submodel. Essentially the 2011 Rogue has at least 3 different rear chassis designs depending on if its an SL, SV or a Krom edition. Pick the wrong submodel and the part might not fit, so be careful.

Will this hitch fit the 2003 Taurus SE? The description above says that it bolts to factory-drilled mounting points (most vehicles) does mine fall under "most vehicles"?

Would any drilling be required for a 2001 or 2002 Nissan Frontier? I would also buy the t-connector for the wiring harness, of course.

I have the same question... Does this come with a wiring harness and is it a "plug-in" type? And If not... what brand and style and price would it cost?
Answered by Nathan S. — Aug 09, 2012 4:11 PM
Hi Michael, Sadly, the trailer hitch does not include a t-connector. We do however offer a t-connector by Curt for $49.95 that will plug right in. Thanks for your question
