Grounding important

"I had trouble getting the lights to work. Called the Autoanything tech support. Tech said it sounded like a ground problem and that the pickup bed may be isolated from ground. I checked the frame to battery with a multitester which showed good ground connection. I had to drill the screw hole next size larger than suggested in the frame member because it is thicker than body sheet metal and sheet metal screw would not tap itself. Also, I used a hardened screw. Lights work fine now."

"I've wired many vehicles for trailer connections. These Valley T-Connectors have made doing this sometimes hard chore a snap! No more splicing into wires in restricted spaces and trying to use a test lamp or volt meter to make sure you have the right wire. How easy can it be-this is it."

"No splicing. No cutting. No problems. This set installed in 5 minutes, and avoided any splicing into my new trucks harness. I would definately buy again."

"I recently purchased a Valley T-Connector from AutoAnything in hopes of wiring my wife's Ford Freestyle as they don't have a factory connection unerside to trailer wiring. I had just purchased a popup and needed her to be able to tow it. Had no idea how to install one of these and the instructions put my mind at ease. 15 minutes later, the job is complete. This could not have been any easier... Thanks for a nice, simple, quality product."

"Install time was only 5 minutes, exact fit, great price. As stated in the instructions, be careful when separating the stock connectors so you don't break the lock tabs."

"Quality product. Installed on a 2005 Mercury Mariner, took a little over an hour but that's only because I took my time routing the 12V feed wire back to the battery. Works great! I've always had good results with Valley products."

"Product works as advertised. Fairly spendy, fairly easy to install, only had to trim one plug to fit. The directions come in about a 2 point font, maybe paper is getting that expensive? Luckily it's almost impossible to hook up wrong. Only question is why they want you to install it so it's under the vehicle and exposed to the elements. It's easy to run it through the inside and not have to replace the plug every two years."

"Connector was very easy to install. Did it in about 15 minutes start-to-finish. Lights work very well. My only complaint is they don't provide a means of grounding, only give you an eye, screw, and drill bit size. I would think for a "plug-and-play" kit, the ground would be plug and play as well. Overall a great product"
