Draw-Tite Receiver Hitches Part #75521 Customer Reviews

Went on without a hitch (pun intended). Took me about an hour by myself, would have been a little quicker with some extra hands. Definitely not impossile to install by yourself, just be creative. When torquing the big bolts down I would definitely suggest torquing them down in steps. I started with 90 ft. lbs. then 95, then 100, until I got to 115. I tried torquing one straight down to 115 ft. lbs. really felt like I was going to snap it off.

While I have used tools before, I am a novice at installing hitches. This was EASY to install, and the holes were drilled PERFECTLY to fit my 2008 Silverado. I installed it by myself, but it would have been MUCH easier with another person to help hold the hitch up as I installed the bolts. Just read the directions, and you are good to go! This is a great hitch, and I am thankful for the quality!
