Great hitch for the money

I just installed this on my new 2017 Subaru Outback. I did the same a year ago on my 2016 Outback, but it was totaled in an accident in January. Didn't want to drill big holes, so I removed the bumper fascia to install the bolts through the frame rail tube ends. It's a lot more work, but avoids any drilling. Unlike the Curt hitch, the Draw-tite does not require a stabilizer strap when using a bike rack or cargo basket. Those are my primary uses. It isn't very visible once installed.

Fit perfectly, looks like a factory fit. Works easily with the bike rack I got (Yakima Hold-up). All tools included except for the hole-cutter (and drill to use it) and a torque wrench. Of note: the "fishing wires" to pul the bolts through were included.

Great price for a 2" aftermarket!

I used the non drilling method of removing the bumper cover and bumper bar. It installed easily "without a hitch" on a 2016 Subaru outback. Powder coat finish looked durable enough and the overall weight limit is higher than OEM. Holes all lined up perfectly and instructions were very helpful. I don't know if there is anything else that could have been done better, to be honest. Will see how this holds up to the salt and moisture of winter.

Draw-Tite on a Subaru Outback

I put a 2" Draw-Tite on my Subaru Outback. It looks better that I thought it would. It is closer to the bumper that I expected (good). It is about 3-1/2" inside the edge of the bumper with out a ball hitch on (also good). Installation went pretty well. The bumper and subsequently ordered accessories arrived within a few days using standard shipping.
