I did have to enlarge 2 holes in the sheetmetal to install the mounting fasteners, but overall it was an easy install. It is used primarily to support a large mobile amateur radio tuner/mast.

Cost was quite reasonable, with free shipping too. Installation took about 90 minutes with 2 people and the instructions were written well for my vehicle. The only issue was two of the bolt holes on the vehicle had to be reamed out some to accommodate the bolt size, so a drill was required.

I was able to install myself - pushed into position and stayed til I could put the 1/2" bolts in. I did not remove the exhaust hanger, as the instructions said to. There was no reason to. Threading 7/16" carriage bolts through members and putting nuts on did not work. I ended up brazing the nuts to the square-hole plates (that the carriage bolts were supposed to go through), sliding into position and putting hex-head bolts in from the bottom.

Simple to install, a little longer bolts would be nice. Had to drill holes in frame a little larger, but not tuff. Looks good. Directions say to drop exhaust for instalation, but it's not necessary. Comes with a draw bar, that would cost at least $12.00, If you had to by it.

the receiver was very well make, great finish, easy to install. (took about 30 min.) only issue with the hitch is the exchaust end of my Dodge Caliber "taps" the hitch on right turns. i believe this is due to the Calibers exchaust design which allow a bit of movement of the exch. system. I am very happy with the hidge and have recomment the porduct and company to many friends.
