I was concerned that the 3% high output PT Cruiser Convertible with its special ground effect skirting would require some altercations for installation. I was very delighted that it fit perfectly, it conceals very well and even allowed for the factory large chrome exhaust pipe. Going forward for me there is only one Receiver Supplier. Thanks Bob

I like the Curt Hitch that I purchased. It pulled my camper with my 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser. I didn't install the hitch, so the installation I would find to be difficult. I hope that the hitch will not give me any problems in the future.

I purchased this Curt Receiver hitch for my 2001 PT Cruiser so I could use a hitch mount bike rack. I have installed another brand of hitch on a different vehicle and had some difficulties. Needless to say, I was somewhat skeptical that installing this hitch could be as easy as the instructions said. Boy, was I wrong. It was a piece of cake. Things went exactly as described and in no time at all I had the hitch on. All is hidden except the actual receiver and it works great with my bike rack. I would highly recommend a Curt Hitch to anyone wanting a great hitch that they can install themselves. Will buy one again when I need one for another vehicle.

We have a 2006 Turbo PT Cruiser Convertable. It didn't come with a hitch so we ordered this one online. Shipping was excellent and we recieved it in three days. You will need a rachet set to put this part on. But it was rather easy. We didn't raise the car up to do it either so it took us a little longer but it is doable this way. You must take the spare tire out as well as drop the muffler. Dropping the muffler isn't that hard either (You only need to unscrew the two parts in back of the rear axel. You don't need to unscrew the bolts in front of the rear axel. Those can be difficult to reach to put back on with a heavy muffler to support.) My wife did most of work with the exception of a few tight bolts. So it is easy to install for the most part but will take the average Joe about an Hour or so with a regular rachet set. The hitch itself is solid and fits perfectly on the car. We were very satisfied with AutoAnything for price shipping and quality. Hope this helps!
