All went well, except for fishing the bolts through the bumper. The supplied fish wire was far too short and I had to make an extension. This added a lot of time to the installation. The hitch looks fine and seems to be plenty sturdy.

I went online and input the vehicle info. It gave me my choices and fit perfectly. Was easy to install. Only negative was the fishwire should have been longer. Shipping was free and fast. Thank you

The hitch arrived in great shape. No damages. All of the mounting hardware was included. The hitch was installed with wiring harness in under an hour. Great for a DIY install. Once mounted, the hitch is solid. Hooked up a small trailer and everything was great. I would recommend this as a great low cost solution for trailering anything on a Chevrolet Equinox.

This was the best priced hitch I could find for my equinox. I was nervous at first about installation but after watching a couple YouTube videos I felt comfortable. The hitch fit perfectly and lined up very well. The only thing that gave me a problem was that the fishwire provided was about 3 inches too short.

Almost everything about my Curt trailer hitch was great, except the installation hardware. Attachment to the rear bumper support on a 2012 Equinox requires slightly smaller carriage bolts than what come in the hardware package for this vehicle. I shaved a little off the head of the carriage bolts to make them work. This increased installation time by about thirty minutes. Overall, an easy assembly.

I installed the hitch & assembled the 20"x48" cargo rack on my 2012 GMC Terrain. The hitch bolted on with no problems and the rack was easy to assemble. I purchased both for about 75% of the cost the dealer wanted for just the GM hitch & installation. With free shipping & the discount offered for combined purchase of both I am at about 65% of the dealer cost. Looking forward to many years of use. Philip

Well packaged when delivered. Very good instructions. Top quality installation hardware provided. Fairly easy to install and it fit the vehicle perfectly. Looks like a factory installation (not due to my ability) Overall, I'd strongly recommend this hitch for the 2010 Terrain. Note: All hitch mounting holes in the frame are threaded by GMC. It was not necessary to use any of the nuts provided, even for the two middle mounting holes.

I couldnt believe the ease which this hitch installed on my new vehicle ,everything lined up perfect. I think it took longer to open the package and find the instructions then to actually mount the hitch. Fit and finish are A1.
