The receiver seems to be of excellent quality, and it was fairly easy to install on my 2000 4dr Blazer. It was a little heavy and awkward for one person to install, but with a motorcycle jack it wasn't bad. I didn't have to relocate the oem spare tire, which had me worried. I also bought wiring harness and it went on in a breeze, although I would advise routing through bumper before connecting to vehicle wiring harness.

I really like the tubular design and the fact you can choose custom paint colors. The rugged design looks tough and it was very easy to install. Also the price for the basic black was a great value at $169.

Shipping was fast. The hitch went right into place, was pretty simple to put on. It took about an hour to install, the hardest thing was getting the old bolts out of the frame. Installing the new hitch is easy.

I recently bought a '98 Chevy Blazer in mint condition and needed a receiver hitch that was a little nicer in appearance than the standard box style. I spent the little bit extra for the round tube version from Curt and I'm thrilled with it. I was very nervous about buying over the internet from a supplier I've never used, but everything was exactly as advertised. Even better, it shipped instantly and arrived in a few days halfway across the country with free shipping. Installation took a couple hours since the bolts were difficult to remove, but the fit is perfect and it looks awesome.

This is a very nice receiver hitch. I bought the curt round frame trailer hitch for by 2005 blazer and was very pleased. It does not come with a pad as shown in the picture for my 2005 but the fit was very nice regardless. The powder coat is pretty good-better than average and has a nice shiny black appearance. The hitch is concealed for the most part- only a little bit of the round tube frame shows on each side of the receiver. The only problem I had was that the frame on the hitch seemed to be an 1/8"-1/4" wider than my truck frame which required me to torque the mounting bolts down until the gap disappeared. I would recommend this hitch to anyone looking at hitches for their s-10 or s-10 Blazer.
