Installation was straight forward. Hardest part is getting the existing bolts off. I you have some miles on your truck. Do yourself a favor and hit them with liquid wrench a few hous before you get down to work. You will want to have a nice long wrench for breaking the bulls loose and electric or air tools help to save you time. If you have the right tools and no stubborn bolts, install should take less then 1 hour.

I'm very pleased with the quality of this hitch. Very sturdy! Only thing, you really needs 2 persons to install this hitch correctly and safely.

The hitch and lighting kit arrived very quickly. We soon realized that the wrong hitch had been sent and I called AutoAnything. They arranged for free return shipping and sent out the correct part ASAP. Installing the hitch was a fun project for me and my 16 year old son. The hitch went on in less than one hour and fit like a glove. The lighting kit was even easier and within 30 minutes we were street legal!

Ordered ona and it came defective:One of the brackets was welded on about 3/16" out of line, which meant that alignment was impossible. I sent it back and a second one was installed without problems.

I installed this myself on a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. There was one part that would have been easier if I had help, but I managed to do it with only hand tools. Fit and finish were excellent. No chips or scratches and it bolted right up. I towed a motorcycle trailer through the mountains with no problems.

I put the hitch on a 2013 Tacoma. It went on easily, especially once my future son-in-law came over to help. It was a little tough to get the existing bolts loose & remove them, but he had the right tools and some type of break free spray and that made it easier.

The hitch is great. The installation was relatively pain free, only complaint is there is not a lot of room to tighten the bolts closest to the bumper, however this is partly Toyotas fault. My only real complaint is that the packaging for the shipping is horrendous. A cardboard box with no padding. When the package arrived the hitch had ripped through the box in several places.
