Get out your tap and die set, and run the tap on the holes that have never been used, to clean them up. For my 2006 Pilot this was the 3 on the passenger side of the frame and 2 on the bumper center. The 3 on the drivers side were clean since that was where the tow hook had been.

I haven't had a chance to tow anything yet, so my review is for appearance and install. The package arrived on time and everything was packed wonderfully. Receiver, harness, and ball. On my Pilot, no need to lift, so in just a few minutes, all 8 bolts were in and I was on my way. The wire harness also came with great instructions and could not be easier. I am one happy costomer

I am very satisfied with this hitch. The first one has stood up to two years use without problems or rust. This last one I put on my wife's identical 2004 Honda Pilot. Best price I could find. WARNING! Be sure to clean out rusty bolt holes before attaching the new hitch. I broke a few bolts and that's no fun.

Perfect fit on my Acura MDX 2006. Looks better than the factory OEM hitch and is more discrete. Can't say enough about the quality as well as price. wiring was easy and plugged into OEM trailer plug with no hassles.

My order came in just a few days, the wiring harness was a snap to install, the hitch was for the most part easy to bolt in but took 2 of us and a little over an hour - overall very pleased with product and service. Thank you

Installed on 2003 MDX. All parts included. Needed to drop the exhaust and tap out the rusted threads on passenger side. Other than that, simple install. Installed by myself in 30 min.

I bought the hitch for my little ADA scooter carrier. It took my honey a few hours to put it on because on my SUV he had to drop the spare tire and muffler as was indicated. I haven't used it yet but we don't expect any problems. thank you.

The hitch was easy to install, delivered next day wow. But if you own a 2008 honda pilot or similar make sure the passenger side thread holes are cleaned really well if not you will snap the nut in the frame loose as i did on one and the other stripped the threads one bolt still holds it up but i cant tow till i fix it what a bummer. But the hitch is awesome very good quality and price thanks.
