Very good quality hitch. It fitted perfectly to 2012 MDX. The installation was easy. Only one muffler needs to be unhooked. I'm planning to get a Curt cargo carrier from Autoanything to go with my hitch.

I installed this by myself by putting my mdx up on ramps in the back. The hardest part about it honestly was torquing down the bolts to 136 ft-lb. Took me about 1.5 hours in total.

i found the same item listed on other website with about $10.00 cheaper, so I called AutoAnything.com and spoke with one of their representatives and he was able to match their price plus one dollar. On top of fast free shipping, I also received 2 free items. The hitch was a snap to install. There is no drilling require; eve though, I have not installed it on the vehicles yet because I've dry fit it. Every holes and bolts fit perfectly. Waiting for holes to loosen up rusts.

I installed the hitch this morning and it took about two hours but the gremlins kept moving my tools, I ran a bottle brush through the bolt holes and then put a drop of oil on the bolts and ran them in first to make sure they went in. Dropped the muffler and heat shield on one side and put the hitch in place on one side got a bolt started and then lifted the other side and got a bolt started and then ran them all in and torqued them down. Hardest part was getting to the heat shield bolts. Dave

Good value and quality. I couldn't install it by myself; mostly because I didn't have the equipment to lift my vehicle high enough. Third party installer only cost $37.50, so no big deal. The wire pigtail was very simple to install, no splicing or anything. Simply plugged into the existing plug located in the rear fuse panel.

Received the hitch when promised and installation was simple but did need a second person to lift and set bolts, I pre ran the screws in with and impact gun, def helped.
