The installation was very easy and only took about 20 minutes. The holes lined up perfectly with the existing holes in the frame. The only tricky part was muscling up 120 ft pounds of torque while lying on your back. The hitch has clean lines. The only tip I can offer is to have a buddy help you. The hitch itself isn't light and have someone on each side during the install makes it very easy.

This is a good quality receiver and the installation was a breeze. I did the work by myself using a floor jack to raise the receiver hitch into place. I like the fact that this receiver is concealed behind the bumper.

I put this hitch on my truck with the help of a friend who helped hold up the other end. Did not drop the spare, and the only thing that affected was it was harder to torque the bolts closest to the bumper. The whole job took less than 30 minutes. One of the first trips I used it, I had a major trailer problem and the trailer wound up popping off the ball. The safety chains held, and the hitch did the job. I haven't had it long, but I'm so far quite pleased.

I ordered the Curt trailer hitch designed to wrap around a spare tire and it arrived 2 days after ordering it. It is very solid and once installed feels like part of the frame. Be prepared to have someone assist you to install it. If you're getting the hitch w/spare then you have to screw in one side first then have someone pull the other side to line up the holes to screw it into place. All around good hitch for the price.

As soon as I got it I just called a friend over to help hold it and we had it up in about 10 min. Great product I got it to save the bumper on my truck because I am always hauling my race hauler long distances. Thanks, Tory
