It is heavy duty. It did fit my 1985 Jeep CJ7 with the 20 gallon gas tank and without drilling any extra holes. The brake lines were a little in the way but I was able to move them enough to fit the hitch.

I received my Curt hitch a week before I expected it which was nice. The finish and quality were well above what I expected for the price, but the best part was how easy it was to install! I had a class 1 hitch that took me longer to remove than it did to install the new one. No drilling and 30 min. Have used it several times now and love it.

Excellent quality went together easily. I will need to modify my bumper slightly to fit over the hitch and the side arms are very tight to the rear shackle mount bolts. hoping that won't cause a problem. overall very happy with the hitch.
