Hyundai Tucson + Curt Hitch = Amazing

This is a great trailer hitch. The installation was straightforward and easy but would have been a bit easier with a second person. The only reason for four stars for the ease of installation is that the hitch did not fit perfectly between the vertical slats on the plastic bumper. The bumper is pushed out ever so slightly on the sides, but only I can tell. I have received compliments on the sleekness of the look. I would highly recommend this trailer hitch.

Hitch for Tucson

Excellent trailer hitch with nice appearance. When installed, hidden and doesn't stick out...which means no hitting shins, a plus!! My only problem during install involved my 2006 Hyundai Tucson. The plastic cover over the bumper prohibited the hitch to be installed easily. I had to cut out some cover on each side about 1/4 inch each to get the hitch to install. When I pulled up any possible video showing hitch installation, there weren't any videos for 2006 Hyundai Tucsons.

Very happy with purchase. Order arrived within a couple of days. The box was torn up but nothing broken. Hardest part of the installation was removing the exhaust hooks, but with some WD40 and a good set of pliers was able to get them off. The hitch it perfectly into the predrilled holes. Over it me, a novice, about 90 mins, with most of that playing around with the exhaust hooks. Looks great and so far so good. Very happy

Very good product. Installation was a breeze - did not even need to lower the exhaust but only pull it a bit for one of the bolts. I only wish it came with a wiring harness for my vehicle... :(

I have installed hitches on previously owned vehicles with little or no problem. However, all of the bolt holes on the Curt receiver did not line up on my 2007 Kia Sportage. Able to attach with four bolts only.

I purchased the Curt reciever hitch to install on my mothers 2008 Kia sportage so I would not have to drive my truck in from out of state just to tow my boat. To my amazement the hitch arrived the day after I ordered it and the installation began. After reviewing video on the internet of the installation it was no time at all and the hitch was ALMOST installed. One bolt hole on the drivers side did NOT line up. After trying several different tighting sequences I was left with little choice but to completely remove the hitch and modify the hole so it would line up better and allow the bolt to thread. Other than that one problem the overall rating would have been excellent !!!!
