It was not a plug and play like I thought. The packaging system does not provide adequate protection and one arm was slightly bended causing the holes not to match the car tapped holes. I had to use the car jack and force the arm to align to the car tapped holes. This could have been prevented if the packaging system has better product protection.

I received the hitch one day after ordering it. It fit perfectly and was installed in less than an hour. It looks good on my vehicle and I am very satisfied with the price. I am very happy with this purchase.

I installed this hitch, by myself, on our 2009 Highlander. An extra set of hands holding it up while I started the bolts would have helped, but using a milk crate and my foot I was able to maneuver it into place. No problems with the holes lining up, like some folks have experienced. Maybe Curt has improved their quality control or made changes to the hitch. I also chose to trim and reinstall the factory plastic panels that you have to remove during install. Total install time was about 30 mins.

Bought my SUV a few months ago. The dealer priced a "Tow package" around $900 - $1,000!?! I ordered the Curt receiver (class III) hitch and received it within four days. Install was super easy and took about twenty minutes. It looks great and saved me $700 - $800. I dont post reviews often, but this is a deal that people need to know about. I would definately do this again!

It took my husband and I about an hour and a half to install this hitch. Holes lined up nicely. Instructions were spot on. This could not have been any easier to install. The hitch itself is top notch quality. My full size spare fit back in place perfectly. We are very appreciative that this was easy to find & install. Plus you can't beat the price!!-

The hitch looks great and was very straight forward with installation. The only hiccup is that the hitch does not line up with the holes. I had to use a jack to spread the hitch apart approximately 1/4" to install.

The installation direction were clear and easy to follow. All the holes in the receiver lined up with the factory holes in the vehicle except one. Installing the bolt in that hole was a bit more difficult. If you are reinstalling the trim shields on the underside of the vehicle after installation of the receiver, I suggest trying the trim prior to making the cuts indicated. One of my trim pieces reinstalled without making the cuts. The other did require cuts, but not in the locations shown.
