This is a great tow hitch for a Chevy Silverado very easy install only three bolts on each side hardware was provided took a total of about 20 minutes to install and that's carefully doublechecking everything. Much easier to install than many other brands.

Perfect fit, easy install. I used a floor jack to lift it in place, because this baby's "BEEFY",as a class IV hitch should be.Every thing lined up great, looks good, and works good, plus free shipping, got'a love that.

Have used the class IV hitches on 2004 and 2013 silverado 1500s. The OE hitch is class 3 rated at 5k lb yet trucks are rated for 7k plus tow cap. GM should use a class 4 as OE. Better, longer lasting finish and better built part overall than what the trucks came with.

I replaced my Type 3 with the curt type 4. Once I got the old one off the install was a breeze. The concealed hitch seems to sit about 2-3 inches lower than my old non concealed hitch but it's nice you don't see it any more.
