CURT Receiver Hitches Part #112803 Customer Reviews
Reviewed by robert S (LAS VEGAS, NV) Reviewed for a 2004 Subaru Baja — Sep 05, 2016 10:30 AM
I'm very handy with cars, and I have a well-stocked toolbox, but I think a kid would be able to install this thing with some basic hand tools. With my air ratchet and some box wrenches, i was done in minutes. The fact that my Subaru Baja comes from the factory with a trailer harness connector behind EACH rear wheel, meant the whole install took less than 15 minutes. (wiring harness purchased separately)

Bought this for a Subaru Baja, a metric car. First of all the picture of the item is not the one for the car. This is important is because 2 of the mounting bolts go to OE welded nuts, which means the supplied bolts have to fit them. Despite a review elsewhere that complained that the supplied bolts did not fit, I was assured by customer service that they would. BUT, they didn't. After 3 weeks, numerous emails and sending me metric bolts that were too short, I still await the correct bolts.

The install went as easy as advertised. I would suggest that you highlite areas (holes etc.) that are different one side from another. JIM
