Very nice quality and easy to follow instructions. It does take a little longer than their projected time to install. The only negative thing for my application is if the where I place the bolt (other applications the kingpin) is a little too close to the chain hook. It's provides a tight place to where the lock goes on the bolt (Thule Snug-Tite Hitch Lock) goes through to connect the bike rack to the hitch. However, it is a very nice hitch and I am pleased with it.

Installed this on my IS250 in about an hour. It is visible below the rear bumper but still looks okay in my opinion. The only deviation I made from the instructions is finding that the heat shield didn't need to be trimmed as much as stated. I'm using it sexy for a bike rack and not towing.

Bought this hitch for my 2006 Lexus IS. It's very sturdy and actually has a sleek look once it's installed. I got a really good deal on it, so I think it's worth the price for the quality. Quality is good. Now the installation is not difficult but it did take us about 1 1/2 hours to install. That's with 2 people helping out. Not complicated but taking things apart and cutting is what took the longest. Once that's done the actual install is less than half hour.

Ordered my Curt hitch for use with my bike rack. Thought if it worked well, it may have more uses(small utility trailer?). Don't count on it... The hitch attaches via muffler bracket mounts, and the mounts themselves are the limiting factor keeping the overall load capability pretty low. Two bikes had me worried, three would be down right scary without straps attaching to the trunk lid to offset the torque. Install was clean and simple. Took me about twice the recommended 45 minutes. Build quality is top notch although I do wish more of the unit was hidden behind the bumper. Overall very happy of my purchase, but know the low load limits will prevent a lot of the normal hitch versatility.

I installed this hitch for the sole purpose of transporting a couple bikes I have. This item does the trick. It was very easy to install. Directions were clear and concise. Overall a great product!
