This hitch was a pain to put on my tsx. I bought a curt because it was supposed to be the better one. It is short in a few areas the u bolt for the tow hook has to be forced on. When trying to line up the mounting bolts the holes are about 3/8" off. Beware if you install this on a tsx it will be force in. It will smash up against the bumper cover and underbody plastic. Over all it could have be a good hitch if it fit with out being tempted the grind it. Would not recommend.

Fairly easy. Cutting the heat shield and enlarging the frame holes were the only chores. Neither was too tedious. After those two tasks, installation was a cinch. I did it all on my driveway, used a hack saw for the heat shield and a round file for enlarging the holes.

I don't know how much I saved by installing this unit myself, but it must have been a bunch compared to similar quality at a 'hitch' shop. Pretty good instructions for those who are mechanically inclined. Suggested 45 minutes install time. This must be for those who have experience installing a number of these - perhaps on the same vehicle. Install took me 2 hours. Most time consuming was detaching the muffler from hangers and grinding hole in frame to accomodate fastening hardware.

Great hitch

I put a CURT receiver hitch on my wifes Acura, at first I was sceptical about the fit, it looked a little tight. I pressed on and bolted it up and was amazed at the quality of the engineering to make this thing fit. It was PERFECT. I then bought one for my Camry, it just got here and I haven't had time to install it yet. But I am sure it will be as good as the Acura fit.
