CURT Receiver Hitches Part #12343 Customer Reviews

Your installation instruction over estimate the ease of installation. I had to take it to a auto repair shop. In order to install this on a 2007 Lexus ES 350, it is also necessary to loosen the exhaust system near the center of car not just at the tail pipe brackets. This cost $90.00. In view of this It might be more cost effective to go the U-Haul

It was relatively easy to install and came with a hitch cap/cover. Looks nice as far as hitches go! Will be using it to haul bikes.

I have heard great things about curt recievers, however, 1 bolt hole did not line up at all and the circular chain hooks get in the way of inserting the pin, and did not work at all with the lock I purchased. it would have been nice if they would make the larger reciever which is what is required to hook up handicapped scooter carrier. I have to use an adapter which extends the carrier out another 8 in, the carrier scraps the ground when going up the driveway. Auto anything has the best prices.

I can see why the reviews of this product were so positive. This hitch was very easy to install. Had it done in 1/2 hour, and it looks really great. Definitely would recommend this to others and would buy it again.

Directions were straight forward and all but 1 bolt went in easy. Am afraid the last bolt went in a little off and I ended up striping it. But all in all I am pleased with what I got.

The hitch and the engineering that went into it, are top notch. The only thing I would change, is to add to the "tools needed" list, an appropriate size drift punch. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hitch to anyone. It's totally perfect for my needs.

This receiver is exactly what I was hoping for. It fit my 2009 Camry perfectly and went on in less than an hour. It even looks "sporty" on the car with the chrome cover that came with it. It works perfectly for carrying our 2 bikes. Great product and would highly recommend it.

Bought for my 2001 Camry Hybrid. Took it to the auto shop since the exhaust had to be lowered and some moinor underpanel trimming had to be done. Took them about an hour, and one of the bolt wholes on the driver's side would not line up. All in all though, it was an easy install according to the mechanice. Great appearance. I'm very satisfied.
