the hitch is a good one but you should make a class3 hitch for my 2007 ford focus because my cargo carrier takes that so I had to buy an adapter for the class1 hitch that fits my car now the carrier sticks out to far and now the carrier drags if a parking lot is to steep.

The hitch is a quality piece and fits well. There was some extra hardware that would have been used for sedan models. It's a 2007 Ford Focus. The fun surprise is that the hitch also acts exactly like a rear frame brace and helps a lot to reduce understeer. That's a subjective review with no proof but the car hooks up better in fast sweepers and holds line better on exits. Very happy with this product.
