I'm very happy with the Curt trailer hitch and the "T" connector 55515. Could not have been easier to install. However, I still had to take my 2017 Grand Cherokee to the dealer so they could program the computer to activate the trailer lights.

Installed on a 2014 grand Cherokee limited 4x4 and it bolted right up. Easy install took about 5 minutes. Had to install the wire connect Curt 55515 and have my local dealership to flash the system. Thanks!!

My mechanical expertise rating is about medium for regular stuff, fairly low for auto related things. Nevertheless, once I got the four bolts taken off my car I was able to install in about 15 minutes. The hardest part was removing the bolts because they were rusted on. I sprayed PB Blaster and came back 30 minutes later and they came right out. So I guess technically it did take longer from start to finish, but I was not under the car for most of it. Having an extra set of hands would help.

I like the hitch and the ease of installation. Just a couple minor concerns: 1)The coating was chipped off down to bare metal on the northeast corner of the receiver opening. 2)The receiver is out of alignment by a few degrees to the east.

Bought this hitch for light hauling and didn't want to pay the price to have an OEM hitch installed. This was great value, gaudy shipping and the quality of the hitch seems good. Install was very easy once I got my bolts off. They had some corrosion making it difficult but WD40 and a wire brush did the trick. Clean look as well.

The receiver hitch took me about 15 minutes to install. Works like a charm and was literally less than 25% of the cost of the Jeep dealer quote. Would highly recommend!!
