Good product, have installed a few of these over the years but I had to grind one side of the head of each bolt to get them to fit through the holes in the frame. Definitely more than an hour to install and the unit sits right at the exhaust tip height.

The person who was going to help me backed out at the last minute. It was still a relatively easy install. The installation instructions were concise and easy to follow. Installation took 1 1/2 hours. I just took my time and everything went well.

Good design, fit and finish, two people would help with the installation, if the hitch slips out of your grasp and hits your face your vocabulary increases immediately

I am the type that likes to read customer reviews but than often I think to myself if the review sounds too good to be true maybe its the actual company doing a brag fest about themselves instead of a real customer. We are a real customer and extremely happy with our purchase particularly when the Lincoln dealer quoted us a price of $479 (without installation) to order one like it. We are extremely pleased and my husband had no problem putting it on and it looks fantastic on our MKX ! Thx, Curt!

The overall quality was great. the wide plate on the left was a little bent when i received the hitch (most likely shipping damage and not manufacture defect) but i was able to bend it back out thanks to my vice. The installation instructions were a little tough to read but when you get under the car it starts to make sense. I did not have to remove the Exhaust on the ford edge. Just had somebody pull it out of the while while i drilled.

The hitch is well made and fits snugly under the bumper for a professional appearance. It was difficult on my vehicle to pull the bolts through the channel while lying on my back (no fault of Curt), as the rear of the car was on ramps due to unavailability of an automotive lift.
