You can tell the quality is good. It seems a bit chunky for my car. I had a hidden hitch brand for my last car which was a Honda Accord. It was not as noticable as this one.If I would have known I would have picked a different brand.

When I contacted the car dealer for a hitch they did not have any, I bought the Curt hitch the dealer had it installed in less than 30 minutes. The dealer also said it does not void my new car warranty This is a great hitch for a small car, we use ours for the bike rack we purchased from Autoanything. Delivery was fast KR

Overall very good quality. The bolt installation illustration could be better. I had to file the sides(2) of the bolt head to get it through the frame hole.

The clearance from the muffler was extremely tight and I had to trim the hitch to clear the muffler. Also I feel the 2 existing holes could have been used for attachment instead of drilling new holes.

I am somewhat perplexed to find that this hitch requires "straps" to hold a bicycle rack. It seems that there is plenty of space to have extended the length of the support brackets to make it stronger and able to hold bicycles without straps. I am also frustrated by the fact that nobody offers a trailer wiring kit to go with the hitch. I fully acknowledge that Hyundai doesn't recommend towing with this vehicle but I tow a very lightweight trailer (40lb tongue wt) for transporting my kayaks. I am confident it will not tax the vehicle. Afterall it is a recommendation not a rule. The instructions were clear and the installation was complete it in under 30 minutes. The only problem was that I did have some difficulty aligning the hitch so that it was perpendicular with the centerline of the car.
