Great hitch , easy install & can be done by yourself with a floor jack but ramps would be best . Exhaust heat shield touched a little so I just bent it back a bit, planing on an after market exhaust soon anyway.

Installed in about 1 hour

You'll have to be pretty trim to install this on the Hyundai Veloster, as it's pretty low profile. It's not easy to have the hitch resting on your chest while you bolt it to the frame. However, there's not a lot to it -- just 4 bolts. Hardest thing is positioning the hitch while you attach it. I suggest you have someone hold one side while you attach the other.

Curt hitch for a 2012 Hyundai Veloster

I just installed this hitch on my 2012 Veloster and I don't think it could have been any easier! I am very happy with this hitch as the rack system I was using was sketchy and unreliable. The only drawback to this setup for the Veloster is the low clearance/access for its mount location... Right on the exhaust package... But that's minor! Great product and ease of use!

Veloster Turbo

The quality of the Hitch Receiver was excellent. Ground clearance was not compromised with install. I had to modify the car by trimming the exhaust flange and some plastics under the car (non structural) because it would hit the hitch. This could be because it was rated for the regular Veloster and mine is a turbo. Please note that this was for a bike rack. The ratings for this was questionable as it had a sticker on it that stated 200lbs & other documentation stated 100lbs. Clear this up pls
