I've installed at least 3 Curt receiver hitches and this was the most difficult. The directions lack sufficient detail for proper sequence of bolt/nut installation. The hardest part is getting the hitch into position past the muffler; a 2 man job. Aligning the top frame/hitch 7/16 bolt holes is impossible w/o installing the M8 hex bolts and tightening them to the limit. Next the top side 7/16 bolt/nuts must be tightened to align the muffler mount holes. Final torgueing can now begin.

Beware on this product. It says 45 minutes for professional and 90 for novice. I had two professional mechanics working on it for 7 hours. Part of that was probably because whomever welded it did so crooked. My mechanics had to make the product work by drilling every hole new and a little innovation. I would never buy this product again!!!!

The quality of the hitch was very nice, this issue I had was it would not fit like they said it would. The brackets they have on the face of the hitch that bolted to the bumper bracket kept the hitch from lining up with the existing holes for the exhaust to bolt back up and the side bolts holes to align. I had to modify the hitch to make everything line up. I did install a hide away hitch so you would only see a small part of the hitch. In hind sight maybe I should of just went with a standard

Hitch fit frame good, but Curt did not allow for rolled flange on ford frame. Had to grind off for mounting holes to align. One set of exhaust hanger holes were off by 1/4 hole. Had to open up and grind to fit, otherwise pretty happy with everything.

The Curt Hitch I purchased from Auto Anything is a very good quality hitch and I am totally pleased with it. Everything from promptness of shipping, quality, and installation far exceeds my expectation.
