CURT Receiver Hitches Part #13163 Customer Reviews

Instructions very descriptive with great pictures. Took me a little longer than an hour to install (which the instructions state as the amount of time for a novice) because my vehicle's welded nuts threads were rusted somewhat and full of dirt and 2 of the bolts for the hitch utilize the welded nuts. TIP:use air compressor or canned air to blast dirt from welded nut threads and use a penetrating oil that loosens rust and then you should be able to feed the appropriate bolts into the welded nuts.

The Receiver Hitch was an exact fit for my vehicle. Took about 45 minutes to install. Sleek design makes it look like it was a factory installed item. Excellent price and fast delivery. Thanks, Auto Anything

I had previously purchased a Draw-Tite brand trailer hitch from a local auto parts store. When I went to get it the finish was scratched and gouged and looked terrible. I declined the purchase. I went on-line and found the Curt hitch at a better price. It came in a padded carton, was gloss black with NO damage. The install was easy and the instructions provided were exact with diagrams. I strongly recommend the Curt brand of trailer hitch. PLUS.... MADE IN AMERICA!

Put one of these on my wife's 2014 Outlander two weeks after we bought it. A year and a half later my sister in law wanted one and we did not even hesitate buying this one. Amazing, ordered, two days later sitting on my front porch. That's service.
