mounting hardware different size than original. Due to configuration of fuel tank and frame, it is impossible to get nuts or bolts into mounting holes. Fortunately original mounting plate were still in place.

The hitch is very nice. The only problem is the removal and installation. According to Curts instructions it is not necessary to remove the fuel tank. I believe it can be done, but it is not practical. The fuel tank is vey easy to remove compareed to others that I have removed. At that point it is much easier to remove the old hitch (headless bolts). The installation will only take about ten minutes as well

Very pleased with the price and delivery from Auto Anything. Hitch replaced the factory unit damaged in a collision. Fit right up.

Great product,12,000 lb. towing and 1200 tongue weight .. Received hitch in 2 days by Fedex, would pack hitch a little better with styro foam, as it moves to freely in box,FedEx had to retape box heavily, luckily hitch wasn't damage. Would have liked to known fuel tank from my Excursion had to be removed before bolting on hitch !!!!! Overall still worth purchase !!!!! Harry

The quality of the hitch was great, the bolts to attach the hitch to my Excursion were to big and wouldn't even fit the holes. So I paid $75.00/hr for the shop to drive to "Complete Hitch" to buy the correct bolts..correct size and grade

The product is well made, but does fall short in two ways. The shipping container was just a box with 2 small foam pillows. My receiver arrived with multiple scuffs and scratches. Some scratches were through the paint. The second issue was with the hardware, most of which was not the correct size for the application and had to be replaced. I did not attempt to return the product given my immediate needs and lack of alternative options for the make and model of the vehicle.
