Uhaul listed a similar part that required using wire adapters to pierce existing wires and new wires . I have occasionally had problems with electrical connections based on piercing wires, so I ordered this. It took me time to work the connecter past my license plate ( 3 minutes extra w/o re,oving tag) total time under car, 4 minutes including using provided wire ties to keep wires from moving around under truck, total install time 7 minutes. it was a perfect mate to my factory wiring.

The CURT-T Connection is what I needed to get power to the OLD utility trailer, that i'm converting into a camper. I'm about a tenth of the way on the conversion. The pickup that I needed the connector for is a wrecked unit that my friend let me purchase from the insurance company. All is good for fishing and camping this year.

This connector was so easy to hook up and use. My husband said it took longer to crawl under the truck than to hook this up! He is very happy!
