The easy part is connecting the wires to the lights in the back of the car. The hard part is running the wire from the battery to the box. You need a jack and jack stands to do this. Not hard but you have to be able to do this.Everything went well it took about a half hour. I don't see why this has to be a powered box,but then again I'm not an electrical engineer.

This connector install is more complex than advertised. 3 hours. Despite on-line discussion, my suspicions a wire needed to be run from battery to the rear of the vehicle was correct. Instructions were vague. Green wire on passenger side is as a 3 pin connector and the instructions said to install the CURT T 2 pin connector on it. That was incorrect. Despite all the aggravation of not knowing the install difficulty, it went good enough to be pleased overall. The connector once installed properly does work flawlessly.

The part received was not what I ordered; however, it was for the same vehicle and installable. Just took awhile removing the inside of the vehicle. I ordered a plug and play, but somehow received a screw and figure. It all worked out well

THE ACTUAL PRODUCT WAS EXCELLENT BUT THE DIRECTIONS WERE NOT QUITE VEHICLE SPECIFIC ENOUGH. IT SHOULD CONTAIN MORE DETAIL AS TO WHERE TO ROUTE THE WIRE THAT GOES TO THE BATTERY.
