The first install always takes longer but to do this again on a Mazda CX5 would be about 30 minutes, tops. It would take the most time tie wrapping the harness than anything else.

Very easy install. I read some reviews indicating they needed a longer wire to reach the passenger side, but I found I had more than enough - I just peeled the green wire back after moving a sticker/label on the wires and that gave me plenty of slack.

I developed anxiety after reading about trailer lighting systems that are supposed to be connected to the car battery, and was extremely relieved to have installed these with doing that. The hardest part is installing the grounding screw. The instructions say to put it through a part of the sheet metal that's two layers deep, but I thought it only doable to poke a hole through one. I took the screw and hit it with a large hammer until it started a hole, and screwed it in manually from there.

CURT products are easy to install and excellent quality. A brand I will always stick with in the future. These T-connectors took less than 10 minutes to install. Super easy.

It worked as expected.

This product worked as expected. the removable of the plastic in the cargo was the most work! wire routing was a little tough. the only complaint was the wire to the passenger side should have about 4" longer! It was stretched real tight! No excess here! This trailer hook-up will be left inside until needed! No hole to feed through. Would have to be large enough for the black 4 prong plug to fit through!

Instructions were in complete

Your instructions were in complete. The information that was included was accurate but the last connection was not in the instructions. A call was required to complete the hook-up. When completed it worked flawlessly.

I gave 3 stars for the Ease of Installation only because the wiring harness was not long enough to go from the left brake light to the right brake light on the 2014 Mazda CX-5. Not a big deal as I simply spliced extra length to the single green wire going to the right brake light. Any other installation issues were specific to the car and the not the wiring harness. Overall, pretty easy installation and I could probably do it a second time in about 30 minutes (first time about an hour).

needs better instructions specific to model of car

great product, great service!, instructions suck. luckily I never read the directions when putting things together and enjoy the challenge. must be the male genes. but with this, I pulled out the directions, after, upon inspection, had too few wires (or so I thought). after looking at the directions many times and searching Youtube, i trusted instincts and plugged it in where i thought it might go. luckily it worked. INCLUDE BETTER DIRECTIONS!

The Curt t-connectors are thoroughly well researched and designed by the folks there. A good vendor like Auto Anything can direct a customer to the correct t-connector for their particular vehicle and at a fair price. Thanks to the folks at Curt, installation is simple and quick.
