Good product and at minimum $60.00 cheaper than same item at Kia dealer. This item was actually for vehicle without trailer kit installed, as it was for my Sorento. (two pre-fitted connectors on driver side rear) . This lit entails that you take out the tail lights to install.

Read a few of the reviews prior to purchase and felt comfortable with the unit and installation. Directions were great and the video was helpful. It took around an hour for complete install. The longest amount of time was consumed in running the power from the unit to the battery.... I didnt have a creeper of lift, just myself on the garage floor. Very pleased with the unit.

The installation and wiring was going quick and simple until I got to the power wire. I have installed other converts on 3 different vehicles and none of them requried a power wire. The instalation time trippled from 20 minutes to over an hour when I had to run the power wire under the vehicle to the battery. Not sure why the power wire was necessary, maybe because it was a KIA? The wiring kit apperas to be very high quality, all the connectors fit, and everything needed was provided. It was basically plug and play, no need figure out the wire codes, no splicing, and no cutting into factory wires. Would suggest reviewing the need for the power wire. PGH
