Everything worked great with the exception the connectors did not look the same as above. Also the connectors was not all there to just plug in some had to be adapted with wire added on.

The quality and appearence of the product itself is sound and clean looking. The installation took me over 4 hours which was a lot longer than the instructions or video said it should take. I think a vehicle lift would have shortened that time a bit. The "power module" took 2 times to mount it in a spot that was not in the way of anything else. The actual functionality of the product was not correct. This product DOES NOT work with LED trailer lights! They stay on all the time once everything is powered up and plugged in. There are no notices or warnings with this particular product about not working properly with LED trailer lights. I called Curt tech support about this issue and I got an apology for the LED's being on all the time, the guy claiming Curt was aware of this problem and a "I didnt design it" statement. I am currently dealing with Curt to remedy this eletrical issue.

Installed with all wires on the inside of the vehicle, will pull the trailer light pigtail out through hatch when needed. Confusion - installed the Curt T-connector and then tested with a digital multimeter, measuring battery voltage on each circuit on the trailer plug without energizing any of the circuits. After uninstalling and reinstalling a replacement, through Curt, I found out this is normal. I feel there should be a warning in the packaging, not to check with digital meter.

I purchased and installed this item on my 2012 Ford Escape - the instructions where not easy to follow but I found a youtube video with very precise instructions and in conjunction with the printed directions was able to put it all together in less than an hour. Now I just need to find a trailer to hitch to to make sure everything works as expected :)

Shipped the same day I ordered it, arrived the next day at my door. I installed it in about an hour. The hardest part was running the "Hot-Wire" to the battery in the front of the car. I didn't jack up the car so I had to slide under it to run the wire. Everything worked as stated in the instructions.
