Remove the tow hooks and reinstall them with the hitch sandwiched between the frame and tow hooks. Done. I read some reviews where guys thought the factory bolts are too short. Not so. When I had the bolts out, I measured up into the frame and found the factory bolts are just long enough to completely penetrate the frame nuts. I also cut a 6" hole in the skid plate below the oil filter so I can change oil without dropping the skid plate. I should have done that when I bought the truck!

I used to dread the end of the boating season, when it was time to put the boat into the shed. It requires a sharp turn and precise maneuvering to put the boat into the small space. Adding a front receiver hitch really solved my problem. Product seems sturdy enough for my purposes and I hope that it will stay rust-free with our salted roads. Installation couldn't have been easier, though I suggest having a helper or using a floor jack to hold the hitch in place while lining up the bolts.

Fit perfectly and seems well made...used battery impact to loosen nuts on hooks...they were tight. Called my service tech at dealership and told him he'll have to remove it to change filter.

Easy install on my 2008 Toyota tundra DC.Dropped the tow hooks and reinstalled on top of the tow hooks. Less than 15 minute install with an impact.
