Needed the hitch to park a boat in very limited access to my barn. Installation was straight forward with no complications. Works great and a solution for my need.

It was a pretty easy install with a good socket set. It took about 2hrs. including clean up. I had to modify the lower PVC bumper molding, I had to cut a slot out of the middle for the hitch to pass through.

Installation was a breeze except for the third bolt. If installing this by yourself I highly recommend a floor jack to hold it in place. I had to cut a little bit of plastic from the shield under the bumper but other than that everything fit right into place on my 2008 Ford F150. It is pratically invisible. Just the little 2/2 box shows

The hitch calls for 3 bolts each side, but the 2006 expedition has only 2 holes each side where the tow rings are. I have installed the hitch on the 4 bolts but obviously it is not as strong as intended.
