Easy to install -- if you have 2+ people!

Reviewed By Carlos P (MEDFORD, MA) Reviewed for a 2011 Audi A4 —6/2/2015 6:33 AM

Let me start by saying Curt hitches are high quality, and look good on your vehicle (although no hitch that I've seen really looks all that great on the audi avants). This hitch installed in right around 2 hours, and if I ever had to do another one, I think it would only take me about 45 minutes. Easy. It was super simple to install, but lifting the damn thing and marking where the holes in the heat shield go would both have been impossible without at least 2 people. DO NOT install alone!

Hitch install was very simple and straight forward. three of four bolts were done by myself, fourth bolt needed an extra set of hands to push muffler an inch out of the way to tighten fourth bolt. Total time 20 minutes

Curt Q25 (Ford Puck) Additional tools needed for installation

Reviewed By Ronald M (Camas, WA) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-250 —11/1/2017 12:49 PM

Excellent hitch and not overly challenging to install after locating all of the required tools. One item that needs to be clarified in the listing details, is that a 100 ft/# torque wrench is required to assemble the head to the legs. Adjusting the pucks was also a little tricky as the mounting bolts are course thread instead of fine thread. Another set of cotter pins would also be nice as the ones provided were already spread out and it was frustrating to get them straightened for reuse.
