Great hitch. Excellent build and finish quality. The installation only took about 20 minutes and was easy and well instructed. The fascia trimming took as long( because I remeasured- the instructions were dead on) as did finding and putting the few tools away. Your Curt 11033 hitch was not listed as a fit for the 2008 BMW 328i. Your tech rep would not sell me one because of this. After he refused to call the Curt tech rep for me I called Curt. It turns out that Curt also did not list this as a hitch for the car. Interestingly enough, the Curt installation instructions clearly show a 328i being mounted with this hitch. The Curt tech rep said they must have messed up the computer update and that he would try and get this corrected. I then ordered this hitch online! I am very disappointed at the level of assistance and refusal of your tech rep to call Curt and ask them the same thing I did. That is: "Why would this 11033 hitch not work on a 328i when that is the car used for the installation instructions?"! You are missing a lot of sales on a great product. Two changes would make the hitch nearly invisible. !. Offer car color match or a few color choices as silver/ blue etc. Minimaly a car color chart for buying a can of spray paint prior to installation. As an option,If you would mount the receiver behind the hitch cross member, this would place the receiver about 5 inches under the bumper making the installation nearly invisible. My wife does not mind the black receiver or its location but nearly everyone else asks why you didn't just put the receiver 5 inches further in toward the front of the car so it can't be seen. Same installation, almost identical design, less materials for you, more people willing to put the hitch on their cars.
