Excellent product but installation cost more the the hitch.

For a 2006 model BMW X3. The plastic molding flange had more screws holding it in place than the instructions noted and the screws inside the tire well were hard to remove/re-install for someone with large hands. Once the flange was removed, it was also easier to remove a plastic spacer (not shown on the instructions) to get to the bumber nuts. Once the flange was removed, the installation of the hitch was easy. However, the flange required significant cutting and shaping upon re-installation so it did not interfere with the hitch. Overall, it took 3 hours to install but the hitch is hidden underneath the flange and works great. I would recommend the hitch, although I think it may need some more detailed instructions.

Installing it on my X was a breeze. The packaging it arrived in was destroyed. The hitch itself was sticking out of the box. Fortunately it was undamaged. It's nice because it has two pin sizes already drilled into the sides of the reciever.
