Classy tow

Reviewed By Angela T (DENTON, NC) Reviewed for a 2011 BMW X3 —10/15/2015 5:52 AM

The hitch is a perfect fit for my BMW X3. While I will only be towing a small trailer or use my bumper buddy, it is perfect and hidden under the bumper. A cut out of the bumper cover was not necessary which was even better. I did have to take the bumper cover off to install and had to replace some plastic connectors around the wheel wells after removal. A professional installation might be necessary for someone without this knowledge.

Great product that fit perfectly--installation not trivial

Reviewed By Alan R (MECHANICSBURG, PA) Reviewed for a 2014 BMW X3 —8/13/2015 10:56 AM

The hitch fit perfectly on my 2014 BMW X3, but the installation process took me about 3 1/2 hours. Instructions were pretty complete, except they did not cover the removal and re-installation of the parking assist wiring in the rear bumper. If you are experienced and take your time, go ahead and tackle the installation yourself, otherwise have a mechanic perform the installation.

Tastes great , less filling !

Reviewed By thomas c (selden, NY) Reviewed for a 2015 Scion FR-S —11/19/2015 6:33 PM

Bought this so I could use a bike rack on my scion FR-S . Great design for this car receiver sits just below of bumper the rest is hidden behind bumper. Installation took about an hour. Hardest part was removing plastic bumper cover without scratching it or breaking any clips ! you can find videos on You Tube showing the installation also you don't need to remove the tail lights like the instructions say , save yourself a step.
