Excellent product but installation cost more the the hitch.

For a 2006 model BMW X3. The plastic molding flange had more screws holding it in place than the instructions noted and the screws inside the tire well were hard to remove/re-install for someone with large hands. Once the flange was removed, it was also easier to remove a plastic spacer (not shown on the instructions) to get to the bumber nuts. Once the flange was removed, the installation of the hitch was easy. However, the flange required significant cutting and shaping upon re-installation so it did not interfere with the hitch. Overall, it took 3 hours to install but the hitch is hidden underneath the flange and works great. I would recommend the hitch, although I think it may need some more detailed instructions.

Quick and easy install, no drilling. Just remove the two tow hooks and the hitch bolts into those four holes. 200-lb capacity but my son and I stood and bounced on the cargo carrier I plugged in (about 300 lbs worth) and no problem of course. After installing the rubber spring helpers (Sumo Springs $100) also, it barely sagged under the weight, and added about a 1/2 inch in the rear unloaded. Good to go!-Retired Marine
