Installation is simple except for one thing. The instructions are so generic they are almost worthless. As I stated in my Drawtight hitch review, install the wiring harness first if at all possible. It is very tight to get your hands up between the hitch and the bumper if you don't install the wiring first. One other thing, even if you buy the cheapest supercenter or autoparts wiring harness, they usually come with a cover attached to the wiring plug. I take a piece of electrial tape and cover the end when I am not pulling a trailer. The people at CURT should consider this. The aggravation of having to dig dirt out of the exposed end before you hook up your trailer is just that, aggravating! I will end on a good note. The ease of attaching the wiring harness to the OEM wiring is great and the quality of the wiring is great. It takes less than 10 minutes to install.
