CURT Receiver Hitches Reviews

OK for Toyota Sienna, but problems with clearence.

Reviewed By Bryan C (Colorado Springs, CO) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Camaro —6/18/2012 8:32 AM

Good things - installation was a breeze, took me about 45 minutes without any assistance (except for wood blocks to help hold it up while I mounted the Receiver Hitch). Seems very solid and appears like it will last a very long time. Bad thing - it reduced my Sienna's clearance to the point where it bottoms out quite a bit - like hitting speed bumps, coming up my driveway, etc. Makes a loud and uncomfortable "bang" when it hits the ground and will ultimately get pretty scratched up underneath. Not sure this is the "fault" of the hitch, since it does sit right up underneath the bumper, but still very annoying.

CURT Trailer Wiring Adapters Reviews

Mostly easy install

Reviewed By Grant T (HOUSTON, TX) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Express —8/6/2015 7:15 AM

Mounting and connecting the 4-way adapter was a piece of cake. I also really like the LED indicators on this piece of gear. I find myself wanting a little more instruction for the "remaining" wires (blue, gold, and black). I think these need to be run to a brake controller (which I do not have yet). The instructions were very vague on that detail.
