Great quality Great price Great fit

Reviewed By michael r (CENTER OSSIPEE, NH) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Colorado —12/15/2016 4:19 AM

I had to modify the installation on a 2011 Chevy Colorado. I could not go through the rear chasis without removing the entire rear bumper in order to "snake" the frame bolts into position. I had to grind off 2 sides of the head of the bolts and thread them through another hole in the frame further up towards the center of the rear axle.

The T-connector was very easy to install and takes less than fifteen minutes to install. All parts included and works great.

decent price for hidden hitch with higher capacity

Reviewed By Ben M (Carmichael, CA) Reviewed for a 2016 Chevy Colorado —12/20/2016 5:23 PM

For model 76004, square tube with higher capacity. You can install it yourself, kinda, but you really need help to put it into position. The Colorado step bumper and bumper support are light weight and can be handled alone but the new hitch cannot. Plus it has a very tight fit around the frame rails and must be pushed on with some force or even with a mallet. The fit on mine was just right. The square tube is hidden behind the step bumper. Use 1/2" drive socket & wrench as torque is 100 ft lbs.
