The installation was fairly simple, but you'll need an impact driver. On the 2016 Chevy Colorado, there is a brace between the spare tire that connect to the factory installed hitch and the frame it requires 4 bolts. You'll have to make a choice because this hitch does not have the two holes for the bolts that connect to the brace. No biggie though.

Hi guys, the youtube video is great and it was easier than I thought. I did it by myself without anyone assisting. TIPs: 1) For having the hitch at the right height while fishing the bolts, place the hitch over a toolbox over a 5 gal. plastic bucket. That's almost the exact height to get the bolts and nuts in proper place through the hitch. Once you tighten the first one a little, the second bolt is easier to install. 2) Paint the holes you drilled to avoid rust. Thanks and Enjoy!
