"Couple of tips: Use 2 people; it makes a big difference. Unplug license plate lamps from sockets and tuck them up and away; no need to unplug anything from harness. Remove rear step bumper and brkts as one unit(2 people needed), being careful not to let bumper hit qtr panels. Next remove rear license plate screws; they will interfere with step pad removal. Then remove step pad starting from edge that faced bed of truck to access bolts using a long flat screwdriver. Remove bumper from brackets. There are 2 ground screws on the frame, I only needed to relocate the one on the passenger side. Take bumper brkts and line it up with holes on hitch to see which holes you will be using. Carefully align hitch to frame (2 people needed) and hold bracket up and get a bolt or two inserted on each side. Get remainder of bolts inserted and finger tighten nuts. Reinstall bumper with bolts and nuts finger tight. Tighten bolts on frame and then on bumper. Plug in license lamps, reinstalled bumper pads and license. Took two of us 1.5 hrs. Looks great!" —Scott P from Columbia, TN bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2001 Chevy S10 Pickup.
