I bought this for my 2005 suburban and it looks great. The lights are a nice extra and display brighter when brake is pressed on.

Looks Great; Functional Too

Reviewed By Vincent R (Johnston, IA) Reviewed for a 2005 Chevy Suburban —2/28/2007 6:51 AM

I ordered the stainless steel for good looks and durability. I got it mainly for bumper protection, since I've been rear-ended twice and my ball hitch saved me from any real damage. Wish Rhino would have used a heavier gage steel. This seems too light to take much of a blow. But it does look good and provides a handy step for getting in and out while loading your SUV. Packaging needs to be more durable. The box was trashed by the time it got to my door and the step was hanging out after someone at FEDEX had re-taped it. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and quick delivery. Vince

Curt Hitch for 1984 Suburban

Reviewed By Peter V (Pittsford, NY) Reviewed for a 1984 Chevy Suburban —8/23/2017 2:36 PM

The hitch seems to be good quality, well made. Installation was not as easy as the instructions noted. I have a 40 gallon tank and I needed to make a fish wire to install the two forward bolts into place. Not a huge deal but just something to note if you have a 40 gallon tank. You can't just drop the forward bolts in.
