Good Hitch, great price

Reviewed By Caleb C (RUSTON, LA) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Traverse —1/11/2013 4:12 AM

I put the hitch on by myself in about 15 minutes. I am familiar with tools and mechanics but honestly there isn't much to it. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 is because of some nasty burs it had in a few places around edges. Because I put it on by myself I had to grab it and hold it under some mild strain. One of the burs cut my hand and I could see that happening to someone else and possibly being pretty nasty. Other than that the product is solid looks good and hides under cover.

A+

Tim the tool man would be proud of the quality built, easy to install tow hitch. I put mine on my wife's Chevy Traverse with the help of my 14 year old son and all I did was hold the hitch in place. The holes were predrilled and threaded with all the nuts and bolts you needed. Great project for father and son.

A little harder to install than advertized

Reviewed By daryl p (SILVER SPRING, MD) Reviewed for a 2009 Chevy Traverse —7/6/2014 2:59 PM

I'm not a pro and not a novice but this hitch took about 3 1/2 hours to install. The metal bracket and bolt did't fit into the cross member as shown. Had to use the bolt only. Also I tied string onto the bolt so I could pull it back out once it was pushed in with fish wire. Glad I did only way to get the metal bracket back off. Otherwise is bolted up tight. I removed the lower front rubber air foil to install hitch, made the cut after hitch installed otherwise if would have been in the way.
