Wiring Town & Country for trailer

Reviewed By FRANK M (Hollister, CA) Reviewed for a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country —6/16/2011 6:28 PM

Curt wiring harness matched OEM fitting for fit and appearance. Threading through fenders was the biggest challenge. Worked perfectly the first time. Would be nicer if all four wires were joined like some flat four leads near trailer plug. Perhaps that is why wire ties were included. Watch for possible short to develop where wire ride on sharp edges of bodywork.

No "Custom" Job

Reviewed By Gary H (Birmingham, AL) Reviewed for a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country —12/26/2009 7:15 AM

The connector does the job but I was a little disappointed to find that the last note on the instructions was to leave the wires in the Jack Storage Box until you need them. Apparently you have to pull the 4 flat connector from storage to the outside of the vehicle and then close the trunk lid down on the wire. The female end would then be hanging outside to connect to the male end from the trailer. I installed a wiring harness on my 1994 Town and County and all of the wiring came out underneath the vehicle and attached to the hitch next to the receiver...more of a "custom" look. I hope the wires hold up over time after having the trunk closed on them over and over.

C7 stop-turn signal combiner

Reviewed By Joe R (POUGHKEEPSIE, NY) Reviewed for a 2017 Chevy Corvette —9/21/2016 7:06 AM

Bought the unit to combine the turn signals with the stop lights on my C7 Corvette; I HATE yellow turn signals. I was not simple dropping the rear valence to access the rear light assemblies, but it was worth it. The car's battery is right there in the rear, so it made the hookup easy. They work great; turn signals and stop lamps are the same lamps. I also wired the old yellow turn signals with the back-up lamps; they are very "illuminating" now.
