Mounting on Dodge Grand Caravan

Reviewed By Bill S (MAYNARD, MN) Reviewed for a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan —5/21/2016 8:34 PM

The receiver hitch is a very good quality, however the box lacked mounting iinstructions am some hardware. After emailing AutoAnything, which told me inside receiver cavity "NOT THERE" AND then calling Curt who told me hardware was mounted on the frame by the factory. Problem now is I have to either cut off part of my exhaust system or totally remove so I can remove the 3 bolts underneath the muffler and then start assembling the hitch, put back together exhaust system. I should have paid to do.

Bii in Littleton

Reviewed By BILL R (LITTLETON, CO) Reviewed for a 1992 Dodge Dakota —4/28/2016 1:22 PM

I was very worried about the installation when i bought the DRAW-Tite Hitch, but once I started the process it was a simple procedure, having to drill 4 holes, but with the one bolt in the frame that lines up and holds the whole thing in place made it easy to complete.

Beast

Reviewed By Brian F (Windsor, MO) Reviewed for a 2008 Dodge Ram —3/19/2016 7:59 AM

Maybe I should be towing in reverse via the hitch is rated more than my trucks rear. Installation is logical, check out the youtube video CURT posted. Sure the wire provided is 6" too short, but as long as you are smarter than a cave man you can adapt. You need to drill into your frame on the 2008 Ram. Only 4 stars via the wire length.
