Curt Cat 3 Receiver

I like the receiver, very well made. I do have a couple of complaints, 1. Packaging, the bag with all the bolts and nuts was tape to receiver and receiver was basically loose in the shipment box, this allowed for some movement in shipping which caused the nut and bolt bag to wear the paint off in two spots where it was attached. 2. There was a white bar code sticker on the end of receiver, sticker didn't want to peal off easily, had to scrap off which caused for more paint loss. Had 2 repaint

I was very worried about the installation when i bought the DRAW-Tite Hitch, but once I started the process it was a simple procedure, having to drill 4 holes, but with the one bolt in the frame that lines up and holds the whole thing in place made it easy to complete.

Beast

Maybe I should be towing in reverse via the hitch is rated more than my trucks rear. Installation is logical, check out the youtube video CURT posted. Sure the wire provided is 6" too short, but as long as you are smarter than a cave man you can adapt. You need to drill into your frame on the 2008 Ram. Only 4 stars via the wire length.
